artist's books & prints

The press, originally formed by Ron King in 1967, has closed its London workshop.

The new blood that joined some years back—Karen Bleitz, Victoria Bean and Sam Winston—have formed their own outfit: ARC. The old blood, Ron King at 83, has moved to Chichester in the South to pursue his own personal projects at Ron King Studio.

Circle has published every type of artist book imaginable with well over 100 artists and poets. Its past history is well documented in the publication Cooking the Books - Ron King and Circle Press.

This website remains on view not only as a record of its past achievements but also for new projects produced in Chichester. Much of the past work is now ‘Out of Print’ but over 40 items remain available for purchase. Please inquire about individual titles.
